Christmas Week

So after getting the tree all decorated mom and I went to bed only to find it like this the next morning. After church Michael came over and stood it back up and tied it to the wall. Mom and I had to repair it a little and it looked great.

On Christmas we opened presents and then later Brian and Candi, Michael and Audrey, and John and Sarah came and opened their presents. as you can see the boys had a lot of fun playing in the wrapping paper. It was fun to watch them.

I saw letters like these at the co-op in Ephraim and took a picture of them. I finally traced the letters and then the other day I cut them out and painted them. They didn't turn out like the ones in the store but I was very pleased with them. I think they are cute. I sent a picture to Lisa and her immediate response was "Where are mine?". I really enjoyed making them. It took a long time, longer than I expected, but it was fun.

Merry Christmas!!!

YEAH!!! The tree is all done!!! Mom got the lights on (after having to buy a few more strands) Saturday night and then we put everything on.

When I got home one of the first things I did was put up the Nativity. I got candy cane striped candles at Wal-mart for mom and then mom cut some pine from the tree. It turned out really good.

Mom bought a new garland at Modern Display and at first I wasn't sure what to do with it. Then I remembered the other candles we had so this is what turned out. I think it's really pretty.

We finally found the hooks so we could put the stockings up. Everyone that sees them tells mom that they are amazing, which they are.

I found a few extra things that I wanted to use and didn't know where to put them. Then when I put mom's ornament from Norway (I think) on the pencil pines I had to put something underneath. I think it came together pretty well.

Mom's ornaments she brought back from Europe. I think they are so fun. I think we should get a few more of certain ones. They sell them at the Co-op in Ephraim. Mom thought they looked really nice. They are really fun.

Well of course these aren't all the decorations. If I got pictures of them all this post would be forever long. But these are a few of my favorites. Have a great Christmas and see you next week!!!

Puddle Jumping................Way Fun!!!

I rained the last couple of days here. It was way nice because it cooled down so much. Well in the parking lot there were a couple of big puddles so we just had to go puddle jumping. It was way fun. We got so wet and it was cold, but way worth it.

Birthday!!!

Today's my Birthday...............for anyone that didn't know. I am now 18. It's pretty exciting. After school today my friends had a surprise party for me. It was really fun. they made a cake and bought me a few presents. They're the greatest. Then Dad wanted me to come home and make dinner since mom was in Salt Lake today. Apparently mom had asked Sister Sanders if she would make me a cake. It was so pretty. Yes Candi there is still some left. Actually there is a lot. With only four at home that will eat some there is always plenty of everything. I got some calls from family. i was looking forward to Candi's call all day. I love that you have them sing to everyone. Thanks so much Candi. And thanks to everyone. I love you.

So Much To Do!!!

Wow, there is a lot going on these next couple of weeks. Well, kind of. Yesterday we had our pre-region solo & ensemble concert. I played a flute and piano solo and then sang with the choir. Solo & Ensemble is next Tuesday. I am also singing with a double quartet. So I have quite a bit to work on till Tuesday. Tomorrow is the opening night for the play. We are doing Pride and Prejudice. Daniel is in the play and I'm helping run the lights. This week is also the end of the term so I have been frantically trying to get caught up in all of my classes. (Note to self: Don't ever get behind in the future. It is way to stressful.) Then next weekend is Junior Prom so I will be way busy at the flower shop on Friday. I went today and they were getting ready for a funeral and it was pretty crazy. There were a lot of arrangements and plants to be taken down to the mortuary. But I love working there and I am way excited for next Friday. The dances are my favorite. I seem to be the only one that really likes them.

Back to School.............

Well Christmas break is now over and it's back to school once again on Monday. I'm not too excited. I would much rather have another week but then I probably still wouldn't want to go back. Oh well. That does mean though that school ends in just a few months. Crazy!!! I'm gonna be graduated.
