Christmas Week

So after getting the tree all decorated mom and I went to bed only to find it like this the next morning. After church Michael came over and stood it back up and tied it to the wall. Mom and I had to repair it a little and it looked great.

On Christmas we opened presents and then later Brian and Candi, Michael and Audrey, and John and Sarah came and opened their presents. as you can see the boys had a lot of fun playing in the wrapping paper. It was fun to watch them.

I saw letters like these at the co-op in Ephraim and took a picture of them. I finally traced the letters and then the other day I cut them out and painted them. They didn't turn out like the ones in the store but I was very pleased with them. I think they are cute. I sent a picture to Lisa and her immediate response was "Where are mine?". I really enjoyed making them. It took a long time, longer than I expected, but it was fun.

Merry Christmas!!!

YEAH!!! The tree is all done!!! Mom got the lights on (after having to buy a few more strands) Saturday night and then we put everything on.

When I got home one of the first things I did was put up the Nativity. I got candy cane striped candles at Wal-mart for mom and then mom cut some pine from the tree. It turned out really good.

Mom bought a new garland at Modern Display and at first I wasn't sure what to do with it. Then I remembered the other candles we had so this is what turned out. I think it's really pretty.

We finally found the hooks so we could put the stockings up. Everyone that sees them tells mom that they are amazing, which they are.

I found a few extra things that I wanted to use and didn't know where to put them. Then when I put mom's ornament from Norway (I think) on the pencil pines I had to put something underneath. I think it came together pretty well.

Mom's ornaments she brought back from Europe. I think they are so fun. I think we should get a few more of certain ones. They sell them at the Co-op in Ephraim. Mom thought they looked really nice. They are really fun.

Well of course these aren't all the decorations. If I got pictures of them all this post would be forever long. But these are a few of my favorites. Have a great Christmas and see you next week!!!
