I heard this song on the radio on my way back to Logan tonight.  I've heard it before but for some reason tonight it really touched me and I wanted to share it with everyone.  It's one that says it all. :)

My list of favorite songs is forever getting longer.  Here is my new addition to the list.  My roommate has been listening to this song and I love it.  I think it's super cute...........and it's country.  What's not to love about it? :)

Big Adventures

So for a few weeks now I have been thinking of what to do next semester since I have decided to take a break from school.  I was deciding between finding a job here in Utah or going to New Jersey to be a nanny.  I have now decided that I am going to go to New Jersey!  It's a little scary and there are a few things that I am sad that I will miss but I think it will be a very good experience for me.  It will be hard but then I just have to remember that everything is hard.  Now I'm just excited.  I find myself a little impatient for January to get here.  Now it's off to another big adventure......................wish me luck! :)

My brother John

So I've heard this song on the radio several times in the last few weeks.  I really like it, but the reason I wanted to share it was because it makes me think of my brother John.  And those of you who know him I'm sure will know why.  We all love him. :)  Enjoy.

Flowers by Chelle

Bigger and better.........

So when I left Snow I was kinda sad.  I really enjoyed Ephraim.  It was close to home, small town (a lot like home), and I just loved the people there.  Although, I was also ready to move on and start on all the plans I had made.  So, I came to Utah State University.  I've enjoyed the few weeks I've been here in Logan.  It's a great place.  I have great roommates, and quite a few friends from high school and from Snow are up here as well.  It's been fun to walk around campus and see an occasional familiar face.  It's also great to have family up here.  It's nice to know that I can call Lisa if I need anything.  I think this will be a "bigger and better" experience.

Epcot

Oh yes, the reason we were down there.  I didn't place but I'm glad I got to go.  It was a lot of fun.

We had to be at the airport at four thirty.  A few of us were this desperate for sleep. :)

Then I saw the "Y".  Didn't realize we were that close.  Then of course I had to get pictures of Timp for mom.  It all looks so different from the air.  It's beautiful.

The trip was a lot of fun but I was very glad to come home.  Next year Nationals are in San Antonio.  I haven't quite decided if I am going to do PBL at USU but I think it would be fun.

Orlando!!!

Well I made it to Orlando.  It's been great.  I love riding on planes (Candi I know you think I'm a little crazy).  We flew from Salt Lake to Dallas and then on to Orlando.  I promise pictures will come.  Don't know how many there will be but there will be a few at least.  Orlando is fun but I can't wait to be home to see everyone. The reunion is gonna be a blast!!! :)

Waiting................

I have found that patience is a virtue I don't often posses.  It's almost been two weeks since my surgery so that means, Yay!!! I get the splint off.............oh, but wait, I have to wait two more days.  I know it's only two days but I am just so excited to get this thing off.  Everyone has been telling me that it's too bad I didn't get a cool cast.  Thinking about it I'm actually glad.  That would mean it would be on longer and two weeks have seemed like forever.  Yesterday I kept thinking it was Friday and I was so frustrated because I knew it wasn't.  This is starting to feel like my week before surgery.........long.  Oh well 4 1/2 days left!  It will be so nice to be able to move my arm..........that is, if it's not permanently stuck in a bent position.  Cross your fingers and hope. :)

They did these right after surgery.  The doctor says they are all lined up and look great.  Thank goodness for that.  Now I can heal.

Michelle + Roller Blades = DISASTER!!!

So this is not such a great picture of me but there will be plenty more.  I've got at least six weeks to get a better one.  Well everyone is probably wondering what happened...........well here we go.

This last weekend I went to Price for Kent's homecoming.  On Monday, just before I was going to leave, we decided to go roller blading.  Well it's been a while and obviously was a bad idea.  So we weren't gone very long before I fell and broke my arm.  After maybe 2+ hours in the ER it was decided that it definitely was broken.  Since I was on Percocet I couldn't drive so Kent drove me to Provo for my appointment with Dr. Stone then on up to Logan for a job interview then back to Provo for my appointment with Dr. Richards where we met mom and it was decided that I will have surgery on this coming Monday.  Maybe on Tuesday I'll try to get my x-rays on here.............maybe.  They're pretty cool.  This added a little excitement to my life, though I would have preferred a less painful way of doing that.  Oh well, can't be helped now.

Festival of Colors '11

This last weekend my roommates and I went to the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork.  It was lots of fun and crazy.  There were tons of people there.  We went in the morning so there weren't as many as later in the afternoon.

 We were covered.  I think Ksusha got the worst of it.  She got it right in the eye a couple of times.

We went back on Sunday because we were gonna go to their service for one of my classes.  When we got there the whole hill was pink.  I wasn't able to get a picture but it was awesome.

They told us that when they have the festival it usually rains a day or two after and washes all the chalk off of the temple.  It was pretty cool.  The chalk got everywhere, even inside the temple and gift shop.
