So I've never tie-dyed before. It was kind of exciting. My roommates and I went and got a tie-dye kit from Wal-mart. Sadie and I got sweaters for like three bucks. It was kind of exciting. :)
Just starting out.......well, kind of anyway. I had to soak the sweater and then I twisted it and had to put elastics around it.
Sadie's looked like a person. She said she felt like she was tie-dying a person.
Such fun!!!
It looked pretty cool when I got the color in there. I was super excited. =)
This is after washing it. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I wish i had gotten more color in the center but, oh well. It was pretty good for my first time.
Sadie has a new idea for what we can do next time we're bored and want to do something crazy and fun. We're gonna go around to all the apartments and ask for one ingredient from each one, come back, mix it all up, and cook it. I'll let you know how that one turns out. It's gonna be interesting.
